Per Yakayder’s records on his disappearance, Mehmet Hadi Baran was placed under custody on 26th May 1995 at around 11 pm by police officers who came to his house. He was forced into a car waiting in front of the house. His dead body was discovered 7th June 1995 near the border of the Kurtalan district of Siirt.
